TECH TIPS:

*CONFIRM YOUR UNIVERSAL JOINT SIZE TO DETERMINE THE PROPER “SERIES” OF SLIP YOKE REQUIRED.

*TH400 “SHORT TAIL” SLIP YOKES ARE USUALLY 5 1/2″ LONG, USUALLY NON-VENTED. ( A TH400 TRUCK TRANSMISSION MAY OF HAD A “BOLT ON” SLIP YOKE, THESE TRANSMISSIONS CAN USE A NORMAL 5 1/2″ LONG TH400 SLIP YOKE – BUT WILL REQUIRE THAT THE INTERNAL SPLINES ARE COUNTERBORED TO ALLOW PROPER SLIP YOKE ENGAGEMENT.

*TH400 “LONG TAIL“, 4L80~4L80E AND SOME GM TRANSFER CASES USE THIS 32 SPLINE SLIP YOKE OF VARYING LENGTHS. SOME MAY BE NICKEL PLATED TO HELP RESOLVE GM T.S.B. ISSUES. MAY BE VENTED OR NON-VENTED.

*GM TRANSFER CASE w/32 SPLINE (always confirm specs). VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS OF: NP 246GM, NP241C, NP 233C, 261GM, BW4494 AND MORE!

ALL SLIP YOKES LISTED ARE:

>1.886″g.h. = APPROX OUTER BORE GROUND HUB DIAMETER “SEAL DIAMETER”

>GM 32 SPLINE – BUT THE SLIP YOKE MAY HAVE MULTIPLE “DEAD SPOTS” ( ex: 31 based ON 32 SPLINE or 31/32 ). THE OUTPUT SHAFT DOES NOT HAVE A DEAD SPOT.
