S10_B2O. THIS IS A REPLACEMENT 2pc REAR DRIVESHAFT THAT FITS VARIOUS YEARS/MODELS OF THE CHEVY S-10 AND GMC SONOMA 2 WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP TRUCKS. THIS ASSEMBLY CONTAINS 3 UNIVERSAL JOINTS. IF YOUR DRIVESHAFT HAS A TOTAL OF 5 UNIVERSAL JOINTS (2 DOUBLE CARDAN CV’S) – PLEASE SEE ITEM# 15043842 or 15043841
THIS ASSEMBLY IS REFURBISHED/NEW – BUILT BY US. INCLUDES A NEW CARRIER BEARING, 3 NEW UNIVERSAL JOINTS AND IS PRECISION BALANCED – READY FOR YOU TO INSTALL AND GO!!
**PURCHASER – THERE ARE SEVERAL VERSIONS OF THE S10 DRIVESHAFT THAT IS CONSIDERED A 2pc WITH 3 UNIVERSAL JOINTS. TYPICAL OEM SHAFTS WILL HAVE A STICKER ON EACH SHAFT. EACH STICKER WILL USUALLY HAVE A DIFFERENT PART NUMBER. HOWEVER DUE TO THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE AND OPERATING CONDITIONS – THESE STICKERS HAVE USUALLY FALLEN OFF.. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM FOR US! WITH JUST A FEW SIMPLE MEASUREMENTS WITH A TAPE MEASURE, WE CAN BUILD A REPLACEMENT SHAFT TO MATCH YOURS OEM DRIVELINE.
MEASUREMENTS:
1. “FRONT SHAFT”.. CENTER OF FRONT UNIVERSAL JOINT CAP – TO CENTER OF THE CARRIER BEARING BRACKET/BOLT HOLES. (REQUIRED)
2. “REAR SHAFT”.. CENTER OF THE UNIVERSAL JOINT CAP – TO THE CENTER OF THE REAR UNIVERSAL JOINT CAP. (REQUIRED)
3. TYPE OF TRANSMISSION AND LENGTH OF THE TRANSMISSION SLIP YOKE. YOU MUST REMOVE THE DRIVESHAFT FROM THE VEHICLE TO MEASURE PROPERLY. (REQUIRED) – OR HAVE A PART NUMBER LISTED BELOW
4. “FRONT SHAFT” – MEASURE THE TUBING LENGTH, FROM CENTER OF THE WELD – TO CENTER OF THE WELD. (OPTIONAL)
5. “REAR SHAFT” – AGAIN, MEASURE THE TUBING LENGTH FROM CENTER OF THE WELD TO CENTER OF THE WELD. (OPTIONAL)
