STL-STANG_275 IS A NEW, COMPLETE DRIVESHAFT ASSEMBLY FOR VARIOUS 1965-1967era FORD MUSTANG MODELS WITH A 289 ENGINE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. COMPLETE ASSEMBLY INCLUDES: SPICER H.D. “SOLID” STYLE – COMMON SIZED, EASY TO FIND UNIVERSAL JOINTS, TRANSMISSION SLIP YOKE, 2.75″dia X .083″thick STEEL TUBING, PRECISION BALANCED AND READY TO INSTALL.
TECH TIP: THE OEM DRIVESHAFT USES HARD TO FIND UNIVERSAL JOINTS, ALSO ITS IMPORTANT TO CONFIRM YOUR REQUIRED REAR UJ SIZE BEFORE ORDERING THIS NEW ASSEMBLY. THE STOCK OEM DRIVESHAFT HAS A SLIP YOKE THAT IS 8″ LONG WITH A DEEP INTERNALLY COUNTERBORED SPLINES – OURS WILL NOT – WHICH RESULTS IN A 2″ SHORTER DRIVESHAFT IF MEASURED FROM END TO END ( WORKING LENGTH WILL STILL BE CORRECT )
